Refer an Oncofertility Patient
As a physician, helping young patients navigate a cancer diagnosis can be incredibly challenging. As you discuss their treatment plan, many patients will want to know whether their ability to have children in the future will be affected—and whether fertility preservation is an option they should consider prior to initiating oncology treatment.
At KFI, we recognize that cancer patients need to start their treatments quickly, so we strive to minimize turnaround time required for fertility consultations and treatments as much as possible. Initial consultations are commonly available within 24 hours of a request, and we are happy to accommodate these visits outside of normal business hours when needed. For female patients pursuing oocyte or embryo cryopreservation, treatment can typically be completed in less than 3 weeks from an initial consultation.
