Yllena Popovich, APRN, FNP-C, WHNP-BC, C-RHI
Clinical Manager
Yllena joined the Kentucky Fertility Institute team as a Nurse Practitioner in 2021 and has served as Clinical Manager since 2024. A Louisville native, Yllena obtained her undergraduate and MSN degrees in Nursing from South University in Richmond, VA. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 2019. Following a personal struggle with infertility, she was inspired to pursue further training at Duke University, where she earned a subspecialty degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. During her WHNP training, she returned to Louisville to complete her clinical hours at KFI, where she was eagerly hired immediately upon graduation. Since then, her knowledge, clinical skills, energy, and compassion have made her an invaluable asset to our patients and team. She earned her Reproductive Health and Infertility Subspecialty Certification from the NCC in 2025. In her free time, Yllena enjoys running, travel, and spending time with her family and two beautiful KFI children.
