Paige Hardin-O’Brien, MS
Embryologist
Paige joined the Kentucky Fertility Institute team shortly after the practice opened in 2016. Having frequently moved around during childhood, she most recently called Louisiana home, where she earned her BS in Animal Science and master’s degree in Reproductive Physiology and Biotechnology at LSU. During her training, she was a prolific researcher and has published a number of papers on oocyte vitrification, genetics, and in vitro maturation. Since joining the KFI team, she has developed a passion for patient education and created an Instagram page (@embryologist_paige) dedicated to teaching her audience the fundamentals of clinical embryology and demonstrating what goes on inside a modern laboratory. Her account has grown to become one of the most-popular embryology-themed accounts on Instagram, and she frequently receives messages from patients all over the world to thank her for the support her page provided during their own journeys with infertility. Paige’s passion for life extends well beyond the microscope stage—in her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, listening to live music, exercising, and raising her two children with her husband.
